I wanted to dedicate this post to a brand I fell in love with, Gal Meets Glam, a collection by Julia Engel. I have been following Julia Engel for some time now and I find her posts to be so inspiring. She has a warm, welcoming smile and a beautiful energy that simply radiates from her photos. She is someone who I aspire to be like , and I just had to try some dresses from her collection!

The dress featured in today’s post is named the Addison and I ABSOLUTELY adore it!! With the mild Houston weather and the cool green color, this is one of the most versatile dresses I own and it can be worn all year! The fit and flare style of the dress gives it a wonderful flow and swing with every movement. The wrapped belt and bow gives it a flattering feminine touch and although it is designed to be worn in the front, you can switch it up like I did and tie it in the back! I completed my look with Christian Louboutin nude heels, a lovely pair of Beatrixbell earrings (that I scooped up while visiting New Orleans) and a simple and affordable purse from Zara tied with my Mitzah Dior scarf to glam it up!

These artists have particularly inspired the Creative Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri. I picked the latter "P" KHAKI SCARF to give my bag a nice contrast in color!

Adding a scarf to any purse is such a fun and easy way to change the look and repurpose the bag, it has become one of my favorite go-to tricks. It’s amazing what a little experimenting with accessories can do for a look.

If I am being honest, I am always a little skeptical about buying clothes online. I prefer shopping in stores where I can personally feel the fabric and see the quality but let me tell you, Gal Meets Glam did not disappoint! The quality is just as good as some of the most popular higher end brands but the price is unbeatable!

It’s been a while since I've last updated my blog. 2018 has brought a lot of new challenges to me. It definitely changed my lifestyle, but at the same time it has made me feel much stronger then before! I hope everyone is doing well and I’m so ready to get back to blogging :)

Here's a look I wore a couple days ago when I visited my favorite coffee shop Blendin Coffee Club in Sugar Land. This gold silk top is old, but I have some similar style here, here and here. With my favorite skinny black jeans from AG and super comfortable PVC sandals from ZARA (other style). The highlight of this outfit is the Besse bag from LOEIL mixed with BCBG’s envelope clutch! (similar one and here)

Acrylic, PVC and plastic are back in style and having a real fashion moment right now. I’ve been wearing this acrylic bag since I got it a month ago and everywhere I go, I get a lot of comments and questions about where to buy it. Clear bags are perfect for going to the ball games and for those salespeople who working in the mall since the company is requesting the rule to carry a see through bag to go to work. And to me, the most amazing thing about this Besse bag is that my apple laptop can perfectly fit in. You just cant’t ask for a better work bag!

I love the details of this bag, the gold fabric bottom and the black stitches are definitely a nice touch!

I don't know about you guys, but I have been over eating lately....especially with all the parties and all the delicious fattening foods :( I recently had the pleasure of being introduced to Green Blender and intend to use them a lot. This company will actually deliver a week's worth of healthy smoothie ingredients in a neat package right to your front door! This is a perfect solution in order to control portions (each package makes 2 servings) along with getting a wide variety of different recipes so you won't get bored. You can either become a club member or purchase a weekly box.

Each weekly box will contain 5 different smoothie recipes as well as all of the pre- proportioned ingredients. My husband and I Love the recipes that are fully packed with nutrients and taste great! They can also cater to an individual's health benefits. ( For example: High protein, Immune boosting, Energy, High fiber, Anti-infamatory, Glow, Low calorie, Low sugar, Calm ) 

Here is this week's menu: 

Cucumber Cranberry

Spiced Butternut Squash

5 oz butternut squash

3 oz mango, chopped

1 orange, peeled

1/2 tsp organic cinnamon

3 tbsp organic walnuts

1 cup water, 1cup ice

I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and delicious the ingredients were! It was as if I had hand-picked them at a grocery store or even fresher! I am a true believer in the saying, "You are what you eat." But in this day and age, with everyone's busy schedules, who has the time to get creative about making smoothies? Green blender will only select the best produce from local organic farms to create a large variety of uniquely balance menus for everyone! 

Here is my absolute favorite blender Vitamix! I bought this modal PROFESSIONAL SERIES 750 HERITAGE almost 2 years ago from Williams-Sonoma. I just LOVE it! First of all, they are so easy to use and clean! It has a Clean cycle for the top unit so no more sticking my hand in and risking a blade cut. Second of all,  they are super functional, it has multiple choices to make many different types of food such as soups from scratch, salsa's, smoothies, Ice cream, home made dressings and dips...etc. Using a Vitamix makes cooking much easier and fun. 

It's a little expensive but you can do so many fresh and healthy dishes, it is the top of line!

Happy Saturday everyone!  It’s been raining a lot since we got back, I miss Florida’s beautiful sunny weather. Destin is our favorite place to get away for the summer and it’s my tradition to stop by this great shopping center for a girls day every year. They have a spa, a gift shop, and my favorite boutique Kiki Risa! I love everything in this store, my favorite are their beach hats and I had to pick up a few for the trip since the sun can get pretty brutal. They have stunning colorful accessories and clothing perfect for Florida weather! Here is my favorite outfit for the whole trip. I’m wearing my favorite Prose & Poetry top, it is such a unique design and I love the bows on the shoulder and peach color against my tan. I paired it with Kiki’s lovely white brimmed hat and some Lokalwear flower earrings. If you’re ever in the area and need a “me day” or a last-minute outfit for an event, this is the place to go.
